All Canadian Coffee

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
• 1/2 cup rye whisky
• 3 cups hot double-strength black coffee
• 3/4 cup whipping cream
• 4 tsp pure maple syrup

Preparation

1. 1Whip the cream with four teaspoons of maple syrup until soft mounds form.
2. 2Divide the remaining maple syrup and rye whisky among four warmed heatproof glass mugs.
3. 3Add hot coffee, leaving room at the top.
4. 4Spoon the maple whipped cream over each serving.
